Born in Heilongjiang

Exposed to traditional Chinese music since very young age, learnt Erhu when eight years old

Migrated to Australia when eleven years old, living long term in Sydney

First studied guqin under Zhe School master Jin Wei, studied traditional Zhe School signature pieces

Later studied under Min School master Chen ChangLin, National Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor. Honing guqin technical skills whilst passing on Min style of guqin playing. Participated in core research projects on using technology to assist guqin learning

Invited to perform at multiple Sydney local events to help spread the music of guqin
